Find your favorite beer on this awesome periodic table of international beer styles. ABV is alcohol by volume, IBU is international bitterness units, and SRM is standard reference method. SRM is how brewers determine the color intensity, or darkness, of their beer. Using a spectrophotometer, they measure the wavelength of the light that is able to pass through a contained sample.
